Leo Amadeus
Horse Brother
It's not every day you meet someone who has a brother for a horse. Not, like, as a metaphor – like, a literal horse. Like, biologically. But what does this have to do with why patience is a virtue that I've never had? And by God, who cares if I'm a baritone?
Leo Amadeus is an actor, writer and musician who will take many secrets to the grave. But if they were told at this show, they wouldn’t be secrets, would they? Horse Brother has been toured to both Sydney and Canberra, and now comes to Melbourne International Comedy Festival. A collection of comedy songs and characters: Dr. Henry Blueman and his inability to rid himself of the colour blue; Ringo Bingo's edgy slam poetry and poor relationship with their mother; and why Leo themself can't perform classical music. And, of course, Brad – whose brother is a horse. And many more.
