Hospice Hysteria from a Highland Homo

Grab your tartan and clutch your pearls – Australia’s favourite kilted queer is back, serving up a scandalously heart-warming comedy hour where death, dysregulation and dodgy dating choices collide in spectacularly neurodivergent fashion.

Fresh from the palliative care wards and armed with nothing but a stethoscope, a sporran and clinical levels of sass, our Highland Homo unpacks the wild, tender and occasionally unhinged realities of caring for the dying while trying to keep their own mental health from doing the Highland Fling off a cliff.

Expect dark humour with a soft Scottish underbelly, stories that dance precariously between profound and profoundly inappropriate, and a cheeky peek into the absurdity of grief, love, burnout and being the only person in the room who can pronounce someone dead more easily than can pronounce purple burglar alarm.

It’s camp. It’s cathartic. It’s clinically questionable.
And it’s the only comedy show where you’ll laugh, nearly cry and possibly leave with an advance care plan!
