9 Year Drought

9 Year Drought is a stand-up comedy show that celebrates being single. The stand-up set is delivered as a severe weather briefing, filled with hilarious stories, observations and commentary. Join Louisa for a hilarious and joyful hour of comedy. 

Louisa is a comedian, writer and improviser based in Brisbane who has written and performed in the Anywhere Festival, Brisbane Fringe Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She spent two months in the United States in 2023, training at iO Theatre and Second City as well as performing stand-up comedy in Chicago and New York. Louisa appears regularly on the Big Fork Theatre stage and Brisbane stand-up scene. Previous shows include Square Pegs with Georgie Row and Attempt Adjacent with Matt Nunn. Louisa is currently touring her debut solo show, 9 Year Drought.
