Juliet Sironi
Crazy Bird Lady
A heartfelt storytelling comedy about ravens, the woman who loves them, a flock of existential crises... and a plush raven who thinks he rules the Universe.
Award-winning comedic storyteller Juliet Sironi brings her debut solo show CRAZY BIRD LADY to Melbourne International Comedy Festival! Fresh from runs at Melbourne Fringe and Midsumma, join Juliet as she weaves comedy and storytelling together to tell her tales of real wild ravens, and the woman who loves them. Nice, right?
Except... there's this omniscient omnipresent mystical (plush) raven. And he thinks he is the ruler of the Universe. And he wants Juliet to tell her story. Her real story. And if Juliet doesn't, she will be struck by lightning. And the raven will possibly peck her eyes out.
CRAZY BIRD LADY is a story of darkness and light, depression and redemption, happiness and... beakfuls of spaghetti shoes? What? And finding friendship in the most unlikely of places.
