Alex Ward

Literally Anyone

Alex had an awkward weekend in a painfully generic Airbnb, and she’ll probably tell you about it. How generic? Well, it had the black-and-white koala print – legally, it has to.

She’s in her mid-30s and making major life decisions (like figuring out which part of MJ’s discography is still okay to listen to). Lately, Alex has been unpacking questions* about identity and what it means to play a role that doesn’t quite fit. The only role she truly nails is an act-out she does to trick her dog into taking his medicine.

*The questions: How do we trust ourselves? How do we trust that we will become the person we want to be? And most importantly, how do we trust the people who write Google reviews? ...they could be literally anyone.
